If you kept your Mint export, BooCoo can read it. Years of history land in the same list as your live bank connections, and every trend gets longer. Here is the import, step by step.
Where the importer lives
Open More, then Settings, then Backup & Restore, then Import Transactions. Choose the file you exported from Mint. CSV, OFX, and QFX files from other banks and apps work the same way.
Preview
BooCoo reads the file first and shows what it found: the format, how many transactions, which accounts, the date range, and a sample of rows. Nothing in your data changes until you continue.
Map accounts
Each account in the file becomes a new account in BooCoo, joins an existing one you already track, or is skipped entirely. Skipped accounts import nothing. Large Mint exports often carry closed accounts you no longer want; skip them here.
Map categories
Mint categories map onto BooCoo's. Each one can join a category you already have, a standard category, or a custom name. Anything Mint left uncategorized stays uncategorized rather than being guessed. Mappings can be saved and loaded again for a second file.
Duplicates, then import
Transactions that already exist in BooCoo are found and skipped by default, so importing an export that overlaps a live connection does not double anything. Then Start Import. Large files run in batches and show progress.
Undo
Every import appears under Import History on the same Backup & Restore screen, and any batch can be undone in one step.
Where your data lives
Your financial data lives on your device and in your iCloud. Not ours. BooCoo cannot identify you: no email, no name, no login. We make money from subscriptions. There is nothing else to sell.
Common questions
Mint is gone. Can I still get my export?
Only if you downloaded it before Mint closed. BooCoo reads that file as it was exported, with the standard Mint columns.
Will old history change my Vitals Score?
Vitals and trends read recent windows, so history older than two years does not move them. It does make your long-term charts and net worth arc reach further back.
How big a file can it take?
Tens of thousands of rows. The import runs in batches and was rehearsed on an eighteen-year, forty-six-thousand-row export.
